A new build hit the water April 13, 2023 in Mabou, Cape Breton.
The new lobstering boat is a Hustler 45. The hull came from MacPhee Marine in PEI and the builders at Ed's Hydraulic and Marine Services spent two months creating the finished product.
In the wheelhouse is an epoxy floor, unlike the more traditional gelcoat. There are also dimmer LED lights for more functional night time operation.
All boats built at Ed's are custom, so whatever the customer wants Ed's will try to provide. Congratulations for the new build and to the owner of a new lobster boat!
