Ocean Gear Inc. is a full service marine operations facility, specializing in vessel maintenance & repair. Situated on the Lunenburg waterfront, they perform minor to major refits and overhauls on vessels up to 240’ long. A highly skilled and experienced provider offering a range of in-house & mobile services from marine fabrication & welding, machining services and scallop gear production and maintenance.

Utilizing a wide variety of specialized equipment for metal fabrication, Ocean Gear is proud to have a staff of highly skilled CWB 47.1 Division 2 certified welders and on-site machinist.

Ocean Gear has a trusted network of subcontractors to support any requirements vessels need while docked at their 800ft of fixed wharf space. They’re proud of their repeat annual refits, handling
all requirements from fuelling & grub to supplying Captain and crew for safe transport of your vessel. They understand the importance of a quick turnaround and work diligently to ensure your vessel is returned to service in the shortest period.

Ocean Gear has over 1050 feet of combined fixed and floating wharf space available for short and long-term rentals including utilities.
