Overview:

he purpose of this guide is to provide a practical reference and some current ‘best practices’ to assist boatbuilders or owner/operators in repairing and modifying fibreglass boats. The guide is aimed at builders and owners/operators of small (under 24 metres in length) custom or semi‐ custom commercial fishing vessels, passenger vessels or pleasure boats which are based on hull designs traditionally used in Atlantic Canada. This document is not intended to be a comprehensive guide for surveying or inspecting vessels, and it is not intended to be used for regulatory purposes.
