Overview

Shore Cycle Marine has been powering Nova Scotia’s South Shore for over 40 years serving motorsports and marine customers throughout the province. We are now in our new 40,000 square foot facility in Mahone Bay area to meet our steadily increasing customer demands.

​We’re excited to announce that an opportunity has opened for a Lot Attendant / Detailer. We are looking for an individual with a great personality, loves the Powersports/Marine Industry, who takes pride in their work, and who enjoys working with a great team.

Duties & Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the service Manager, primary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to.
• Coordinate with the Service Manager to ensure they are scheduled and organized with daily deliveries and tasks.

• Refueling of gasoline, diesel or propane for shop equipment, ATV’s, Motorcycle, Boats, etc.

• Organize and park customer units on the lot.

• Loading/unloading equipment for customers and drivers. Upon unloading of equipment, checking for damage to equipment.

• Cleaning dealership by sweeping shop floors, rearranging new units, maintaining a clean work environment.

• Clean and detail units.

• Unit deliveries and pick ups province wide.

• An ability to function well as part of a team and diligent attention to safety.

• Other duties as required.

Skills & Qualifications

• 1 year or more years experience within the service department or a motor vehicle/motorsports dealership.
• Professional and clean appearance.
• Frequent holding and grasping with the hands when loading and unloading equipment.
• Frequent use of foot/feet to operate foot pedal/s on equipment and trucks.
• Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Hold a valid drivers license.
• Hold a valid forklift license preferred.

Ability to commute/relocate:
• Reliably able to commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Working Conditions

Schedule:
• 8-hour shift
• Overtime​
​• Weekends as needed

Compensation

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 p/H

*Compensation is based on experience.
