Idle Oars Boatbuilders is located on the Argyle Sound Road and has been building and repairing fishing boats since 2001. The highly versatile staff at Idle Oars Boatbuilders produce safe and resilient seaworthy boats so that you can confidently navigate the seas. Idle Oars Boatbuilders are able to construct, refit, or repair boats whether in the yard, in the building, or on the 50-ton haul-up slipway. There is space for two boats inside their building that can accommodate up to 50′ x 27′.

Idle Oars’ boats have been in the Atlantic waters from Newfoundland to Maine with many loyal and satisfied customers.
