Stability Assessment: what this means

If you design or build commercial fishing boats, this is for you!

The new Fishing Vessel Safety Regs come into force on 13th July. They include Stability Assessment requirements for new fishing boats over 9 metres in length. Come to one of the following info sessions to learn what “Stability Assessment” for new vessels means, and what the stability requirements for existing vessels will be.

Dates and locations of the lunchtime info sessions are:

Yarmouth
Where:    Yarmouth Mariner’s Centre
When:     Wednesday, 12th July, noon to 2pm

Halifax area
Where:     Atlantic Cat, 175 Akerley Blvd, Dartmouth
When:      Thursday, 13th July, noon to 2pm
