ABYC Marine Systems Certification
The Nova Scotia Boatbuilders Association will be holding a 4-day Marine Systems Certification Course. It will be held at the Future Inns, Halifax, NS from November 16th – 19th.
There will be no charge for attendance but you will be responsible for providing your own meal and refreshments though coffee will be provided in class. The course draws on key information from 21 different ABYC Standards as they apply to boat component selection and installation, building on your previous knowledge of the best industry practices regarding:

Portable water systems

Waste water systems
-
Tankage
-
Plumbing and electrical installation
-
System monitoring
-
Compressed gas systems for cooking and heating

Hydraulic systems
-
AC and refrigeration systems
-
Pump systems
As part of registering you will receive a course study guide in the mail. The class concludes with a 200 question certification exam.
